Appearance: Gifted with dark hair and a light complexion, Amara does his best to cover himself all up so as to avoid notice. It does not help that he’s rather tall for his age. He does not carry himself well, instead choosing to crouch, slouch, and do whatever it takes to blend in. With him, good looks are a minus, not a plus.

History: Youngest daughter in the Fawcett family of Ottery St. Catchpole, Amara did not show signs of magic until late into his toddler years. However, he did show signs of great intelligence. Before he had mastered reading he had learned to play chess better than his own father. Though, if you ask Amara, that does not account for much. His intelligence made him curious about everything around him and he demanded an answer for everything. It was quite chaotic to him when he could not figure out why the doors kept opening when he wanted them to. Or how the dishes would always appear clean just when his mother told her to do them. Of course, once he figured out he had magical powers he began to use them to get out of punishments and researched as much about the magical community as possible.

Amara grew up in Ottery St. Catchpole near the Lovegoods. A good friend of Charlotte and Allen, he wondered why they did the things they did. It drove him mad trying to explain that there was no such thing as snorfleflacks and that aliens did not visit Earth on a regular basis. His annoyance with them only worsened as he grew older and he tried his best to avoid them both when he was admitted into Hogwarts. It did not help that he was sorted into Ravenclaw with them.

After attending Hogwarts for a while, Amara quickly started studying others. Most took him for the silent, studious type, however he was really only observing their actions. He soon caught onto how the blood lineage worked and decided to take advantage of his heritage. When asked by others, he admitted to a pureblooded lineage. However, he left out that half his family were Squibs.

Amara has an odd friendship with Fay Prewett. He is frequently annoyed by her calling him “Amanda” and is prone to bad moods after a bit of teasing.

Personality: Amara is a Seventh Year Ravenclaw. A mostly boy, he chooses to stay back and observe. While a big fan of Quidditch and never missing a game, he is usually the guy that sits on the sidelines, trying to blend in as he watches the game with envy. He is deathly afraid of heights.

Amara is naturally curious about why people do the things they do. However, when others get to know him, he finds himself having the problem of not being able to shut up. He does not wisely choose his words like he wishes he could and so tries to avoid others altogether. He also has more than a bit of a temper.
